homeware – MARIS COLLECTION

Maris colection captured the elements that are important to me with my work.  When designing new pieces the key words I use are fluidity, sculptural and flowing, without any of these being detrimental to the function of the piece.

Living so close to the sea this often has a influence on my work either as a space to think or more literally with the pieces in my recent collection.  My current range ‘Maris’  developed from of drawings that I did of seaweed on the beach in Littlehampton where I live.   It is the movement and flowing lines that I am trying to capture to create mini sculptures that will bring joy to the person using them and enhance the space where they are placed.
