Make your own pewter Christmas decoration, no experience necessary, Fleur will guide you through the process step by step.
Date: 12th November 2022
Location: The Sussex Guild Shop and Gallery, North Wing, Southover Rd, Lewes, E. Sussex, BN7 1TP (Event room). The shop is set in the historic town of Lewes and has over 30 of the Sussex Guild members stunning work on display, you may even be able to do a bit of Christmas shopping afterwards.
Time: 10 – 1pm
Using the traditional pewter cuttlefish casting technique you will carve your design into a cuttlefish bone and then use this as a mould to pour the molten pewter into. Once you have your casting you will then clean it up ready to put on the ribbon and hang it on your tree!
All materials are included in the price. Tea and coffee will also be available.
You may want to wear old clothes or bring an apron as it can get a bit dusty. Maximum number of students 8,
