DESIGN AND MAKE A PENDANT IN PEWTER – 1 DAY WORKSHOP
This workshop goes through some of the basic principles of casting in pewter, initially carving a wax pattern for a pendant and then using this to make a two-part rubber mould.
You will then pour pewter into your mould and cast a pewter piece, which will be cleaned up and polished ready to wear.
It is not necessary to have any experience either working with metal or carving the wax as Fleur will guide you through the whole process step by step. This is a great opportunity to experience working with pewter and creating your own unique piece.
For groups of 2- 4 people I can book a date that will suit you, this can be a great way for you and your friends to learn a new skill and have some fun at the same time. I am happy to run these workshops week days or weekends.
What is included: All materials needed throughout the course will be included and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.

Time 10am – 4.30pm
Clothing: As students will be working with molten metal for safety reasons I do ask that everyone wears a long sleeve top and not wear open shoes. It can also get a bit dusty so students may want to bring an apron or wear old clothes.
