When buying a piece each item will be wrapped carefully to ensure safe delivery by Royal Mail.  It will also be wrapped appropriately in either tissue, a box or a pouch and have an aftercare leaflet and business card with the item.  If  the item is being given as a gift, the recipient will know who made the piece and how to look after it.

Each item will also be stamped with my touchmark, this is like a signature on a painting or a hallmark on a piece of silver.  My ‘strike’ is registered at The Worshipful Company of Pewterers so that future generations will be able to look up who made the piece.

What is Pewter?

Pewter is an alloy and standard English pewter is 92% tin, 2% Copper and 6% Antimony.  All of the pewter that I use is lead free, which means it is safe to use for eating and drinking from and also unlike the old pewter that people traditionally think of it will not tarnish and go a dull grey.

PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE IF BUYING FROM OUTSIDE THE UK WILL HAVE TO PAY TAX ON PRODUCTS ON ARRIVAL AT ITS DESTINATION.
