Pewter Casting Taster Workshop
Spend a morning at my studio in Angmering making something in pewter that you can take home and use or wear.
You will carve your design into a piece of cuttlefish bone, creating a mould with its own delicate texture. Then comes the moment of pouring molten pewter into your mould and seeing your design emerge. I will guide you through each stage, including cleaning and polishing your castings. You will make two or three cast pewter pieces during the session.
No experience is needed. The workshop is a chance to try the process for yourself, enjoy time making with others and leave with something you have created.

Pewter pendant or keyring
Carve a design for a pendant or keyring, cast it in pewter and finish it ready to wear or use.
Pewter Christmas decoration
Create a decoration in pewter, then clean and polish it before adding a ribbon, ready to hang on your tree.

Time: 10am–1pm
Price: £65 per person
Group size: Maximum of 7 people
Included: All materials, plus tea, coffee and biscuits. There will be mince pies at Christmas workshops.

If you would like to bring family, friends or colleagues together, I can arrange a private workshop for 4–7 people at a date and time to suit your group. It could be a birthday celebration, time together with friends or simply an opportunity to try something new. Please contact me to discuss a booking.
PEWTER EXPERIENCE FOR EVENTS
I also bring a pewter casting experience to larger groups and events. Guests pour molten pewter into prepared moulds, finish their castings and take home a piece they have made themselves. It gives everyone a chance to take part, even when the event has a larger guest list or a shorter time available for each person.
